MicroNIR 1700 EC – NIR spectrometer
spectrometer for R&D and university research
- Ultra-small and lightweight
- For use in the field
- Robust
The MicroNIR™ 1700 EC is one of the smallest and lightest fully integrated near-infrared spectrometers on the market. It is the ideal solution for R&D and university teaching. Power and data transfer are simply via USB.
Combined with a tablet, it can be used as a mobile solution for analyses in the field or directly in the lecture theatre.
The NIR spectrometer analyses liquids and solids.
Advantages
Small but powerful
- The NIR wavelength range covers all major spectral bands with excellent depth of penetration.
- Compact and robust, with no moving parts, no maintenance and no calibration
- Real-time prediction and method management
- Powerful tool for calibration model development
Chemometric tool
The MicroNIR 1700 EC includes the VIAVI MicroNIR Pro software suite with functions for data acquisition, calibration and method development, user management and real-time prediction.
Using MicroNIR Pro software, a developer can process data and build comprehensive chemometric models using regression and classification algorithms, including PCA, PLS, Spectral Match Value and Moving Block analyses.
Batch predictions on stored data are also supported.
