Thanks to automatic matrix recognition, the FEnX-T accurately analyzes all types of alloys, including aluminum alloys, in just a few seconds, boosting operator productivity.

The FEnX-T features an innovation: with dynamic mode, there’s no need to worry about parameters. There’s no need for the operator to master elementary spectrometry. The device automatically selects the right mode and measurement time, whatever the base – iron, aluminum, copper… – of the sample.

Customization

Another innovation is the flexible customization of processes. With FEnX-T, companies can set up their own “workflow”, i.e. the validation steps to be carried out for each analysis:

The administrator decides on the workflow steps.
All the operator has to do is let the FEnX-T guide him/her through the steps to complete all the analyses.

The result: time savings and complete information for enhanced quality control.

Example of steps :

A company needs to control the quality of machined parts. For each analysis, the operator must :

• Enter the name of the supplier;
• Select the type of parts to be analyzed;
• Take a photo of the sample;
• Perform the measurement.

Ergonomics & Robustness

The FEnX-T is a lightweight spectrometer that’s easy to handle. The analyzer is easy to control using one of the 3 operating modes developed by Fondis and analyticon: joystick, touch screen and navigation buttons.

The FEnX-T’s robustness was paramount in the product’s design. As the FEnX-T is destined to operate in scrap yards and factories, it has to withstand rain, dust, falls and the risk of perforation when analyzing sharp objects. The FEnX-T is equipped with Protector, a grid that protects the analyzer’s electronics (tube and detector).
